The Organization of the Wayside Skeet Club
Trustees, Officers and Committees
The Wayside Skeet Club is governed hierarchically as described below.
New stuff was added to this page on Thursday, April 10, 2008
Limited only by the Bylaws, the Full Membership when sitting "in convention" has final approval over all operations of the Wayside Skeet Club and may direct specific actions of the Board of Directors. The Full Membership annually in November elects the Trustees (to staggered two-year terms commencing on the day of election) and the Officers (to one-year terms commencing on the following January 1st). The elected President appoints Committee Chairs.
The Board of Directors...the seven Trustees and the five Elected Officers [President, First Vice President, Secretary (Vice President in charge of Records) Treasurer (Vice President in charge of Finances) , Vice President in charge of Membership) ] oversees and directs the actions and operations of all Standing and Ad Hoc Committees (including all subcommittees) and the Membership Committee which acts semi-autonomously by authorization of the Board of Directors.
NOTE: Trustees may concurrently be elected to an Office but any one person may cast only one vote at a Board of Director's Meeting. Currently the Board of Directors is made up of twelve members with eleven voters...six (50%) being a quorum.President: John Urciuoli thru 2008
First Vice President: Jim Curley thru 2008
Secretary: Colleen Kelley thru 2008

Once 2008 Committees are named by the new President,
this list will be updated. The EXECUTIVE Committee includes the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and all Committee Chairs...it acts on an interim basis between meetings of the Board of Directors. Chaired by the Club President, the Executive Committee oversees the operations and actions of the club's appointed committees and subcommittees...except the Membership Committee which answers directly to the Board of Directors..
