The East Grand Snowmobile Club is centered around Danforth, Maine and grooms trails from Hainesville and Orient in the north, through Danforth and on to Brookton in the south. Western trails connect with the Springfield Club's trails. Northern connections are with trails in the greater Houlton Area including Linneus, Oakfield and Maine's International Trail System (ITS). Connections with Topsfield go south from Brookton. Most of the eastern boundary of our area is East Grand Lake and the Canadian Province of New Brunswick.
EGSC Trails are numbered:
105 - The Main North/South trail leads from Linneus' Trails thru Danforth
105 - Leaves Danforth and goes SW to Schillinger Rd. and Springfield's Trails
7 - South and East from the Weston area along EGL toward Topsfield's Trails.Our former
Trail 11 - East on the Powerline between our 105 and North Lake and EGL in Orient is now under the care of the Linneus Sno-Sports Club.
The EGSC holds irregular meetings usually at the Weston Town Office at 5 Church Lane just off US Route 1...just south of and across from the new Million Dollar View Scenic Turnout and just north of the Pewter Loon.
"Family" EGSC Membership Dues are $27.00 per year and are due September 30th of each year ($15.00 local club along with $12.00 Maine Snowmobile Association ). Business Membership Dues are still $35.00 per year ($15 to EGSC & $20 to MSA)
EGSC members must become members of the Maine Snowmobile Association annually but MSA family and business members through other local clubs are welcome to JOIN the EGSC as associate members at the local Membership Rate of $15.00.A $2,000.00 Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance Policy through MSA is included for the primary member (non-business memberships) and OPTIONALLY available for member's spouse and unmarried children under age 19 at $2.00 per person per year.

In addition to sponsoring the Annual Ice Fishing Derby, the EGSC owns and operate a Trail Groomer, presents an Outdoor Breakfast at the Greater East Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce's Summerfest during the last weekend in July and sponsors several raffles.
